On this date, Sotheby's auctioned James W. Smith’s collection of antique penny-arcade games. It sold in New York for more than $3.3 million. Smith would donate his Carousel Wurlitzer 153 Band Organ from Rock Springs Park to the East Liverpool Alumni Association.
