Dr. James W. Smith Jr. (pictured above), a noted surgeon who recreated a forbidden childhood paradise by amassing one of the finest collections of antique penny arcade games in the country, including many from his childhood favorite, Rock Springs Park, died on this date in Greenwich, Connecticut.
